As a Support Worker, you will be working with a team to care for children in residential settings between Tulla, Broadford, & Sixmilebridge, Co. Clare.  You will also be bringing the children into the community for various activities (swimming, playground, walks, shopping, cafes, etc.)  

Afternoon shifts: 14:30 - 18:30

Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care to service users, including feeding, washing, and dressing.
• Report any notable activities or incidents to the person in charge.
• Provide emotional support to service users.
• Assist service users with their daily activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
• Contribute to the smooth running of the service.  

Requirements:

• QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support, Nursing Studies, Social Care, SNA, psychology, or childcare (partial, relevant qualifications also accepted).
• Full clean drivers license required
• Resident in Ireland and right to work in Ireland without restriction.
• Ability to demonstrate compassion and empathy towards others.
• Willing to undergo Garda Vetting. 
• International Police Clearance (if lived outside of Ireland for more than 6 months after the age of 16).
