Operations Manager – Day Service

Contract: Full-time Permanent Position 37.5Hrs

Salary: €65,000

Location: Dun Laoghaire Dublin

This Client is looking for an experienced and motivated professional to help develop a new Intellectual Disability Day service in Dun Laoghaire Dublin

This is a unique opportunity to be involved in all elements of service design from the ground up, with the support of a highly experienced executive team. Accelerated promotional pathways will be available for the right candidate, with the aim of growing the intellectual disability service in line with growing service demands.

• Design and deliver a bespoke New Directions guided program for a small number of individuals
• Recruit, train and mentor a new staff team
• Manage the budget for the day service alongside finance business partner (training and guidance provided)
• Build up a trusting relationship with individuals and their carers, embedding honest, clear and consistent lines of communication

Requirements:

• Level 7/8 in Social Care, Education and Training, Intellectual Disability Nursing, Psychology or Allied Health Professions
• Supervisory or Management experience in health or social care
• 5 years of relevant post-qualification experience in Social Care Services
• Full Manual licence and Car
