We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Vascular Physiologist to join our team in Dublin. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting a range of non-invasive and invasive vascular investigations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct non-invasive vascular investigations including arterial and venous Doppler, plethysmography, and ankle-brachial pressure index (ABPI) - Conduct invasive vascular investigations including angiography, venography, and endovascular procedures - Analyze and interpret vascular investigation results and provide accurate reports to referring clinicians - Maintain accurate patient records and ensure adherence to data protection regulations - Maintain and calibrate equipment to ensure accurate and reliable test results - Participate in the training and supervision of junior staff and students - Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical protocols and guidelines - Maintain up-to-date knowledge of developments in vascular physiology and related fields
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Vascular Physiology or a related field - Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Vascular Physiologist - IICMS Equivalent - Experience in conducting a range of non-invasive and invasive vascular investigations - Experience with a variety of equipment including ultrasound machines, angiography equipment, and endovascular devices - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team
