• Conduct assessments of speech, language, communication, and swallowing difficulties.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans.
• Provide direct therapy to residents, including individual and group sessions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support holistic care for residents.Educate and train nursing staff and caregivers on
• communication and swallowing strategies.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.
• Participate in case conferences and contribute to residents' care plans.

Requirements:

• Degree in Speech and Language Therapy required.
• Registration with CORU is mandatory.
• Full driving license and access to own car is desirable.
• Experience experience with older people in both communication and EDS.
• Resident in Ireland and legal right to work in Ireland without restriction.
• All candidates will be required to undergo Garda Vetting. 
• Candidates who have lived outside of Ireland for more than 6 months over the age of 16 will be required to produce International Police Clearance. Failure to have this document during the initial recruitment stages will result in an unsuccessful application.
