TTM Healthcare Solutions are seeking a Staff Grade Speech and Language Therapist on behalf of a voluntary organization serving over 1,700 people with intellectual disabilities in Dublin, with services across North, North-East, and Southern regions. Our client focuses on empowering individuals to live full lives in their communities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver Speech and Language Therapy services to adults with intellectual disabilities.
• Work under the guidance of the SLT Manager and Senior SLTs.
• Collaborate closely with multi-disciplinary clinical and frontline colleagues.

Essential Criteria:

Candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• Educational Qualifications:
  • B. Sc in Clinical Speech and Language Studies from University of Dublin/NUIG/UCC
  • BA (Moderatorship) in Remedial Linguistics from the University of Dublin
  • M.Sc in Speech & Language Therapy (Professional Qualification) from the University of Limerick
  • Licentiateship from the College of Speech Therapists
  • Any validated Speech & Language qualification equivalent to the above
• Registration: Must be registered with CORU.
• Experience:
  • Experience (including student placements) working with people with intellectual disabilities.
  • Experience working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to support families and staff.

Desirable Criteria:

• Qualifications in dysphagia (undergraduate or postgraduate).
• Certification in Lámh, Intensive Interaction.
• Full, clean driver’s license and access to a car.
