Job Description: A leading healthcare facility in County Kerry is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Radiographer to join its Diagnostic Imaging team on a full-time, permanent basis. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional radiography services across various modalities, with a particular focus on the Cardiac Angiography Suite.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a wide range of diagnostic radiography procedures, including those within the Cardiac Angiography Suite.
• Administer and manage PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System).
• Assist in the administration of the Electronic Cardiology Information Management System (ECIMS).
• Participate in the out-of-hours on-call service as required.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and colleagues.
• Work effectively both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong organisational skills.
• Meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: BSc in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent.
• Registration: CORU registration is mandatory.
• Experience:
  • Experience across various radiography modalities.
  • Experience in a Cardiac Angiography Suite is highly desirable.
  • Experience in PACS administration is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Electronic Cardiology Information Management Systems is a strong advantage.
• Skills:
  • Proficiency in IT and digital systems.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage workload and meet deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
