Job Title: Temporary Clerical Officer Grade IV
Location: Mullingar, Co. Westmeath
Duration: Temporary 3 month initial contract
Payrate- €18.30 - €28.61 per hour depending on previous relevant public sector experience
Full time- 35hrs per week
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Clerical Officer Grade IV to join our team on a temporary basis in Mullingar, Co. Westmeath.
The successful candidate will have skills and experience in SAP, recruitment, HR, payroll, and onboarding. The role involves supporting various administrative functions to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize SAP for data entry, report generation, and maintaining accurate records.
- Assist with the recruitment process, including posting job ads, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.
- Support HR functions such as maintaining employee records, updating HR databases, and assisting with HR projects.
- Manage payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Facilitate onboarding processes for new employees, including preparation of induction materials and coordination of orientation sessions.
- Handle general clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and answering phone calls.
- Prepare and distribute correspondence, reports, and other documents as required.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection policies.
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous experience in a clerical or administrative role.
- Proficiency in SAP software.
- Knowledge of recruitment processes and HR practices.
- Familiarity with payroll procedures and regulations.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and tasks.
Education:
- A relevant qualification in business administration, HR, or a related field is preferred.
Must be available for an immediate start after a successful pre-employment is complete.
