Job Title: Temporary Clerical Officer Grade IV
Location: Dublin 2
Duration: Temporary 3 months initial contract

Job Description:

Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks to support the efficient operation of the office.
- Utilize MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams and Outlook) for document preparation, data analysis, and presentations.
- Manage and maintain accurate data records, ensuring data integrity and compliance with organizational standards.
- Take detailed and accurate minutes during meetings, distribute minutes to relevant parties, and follow up on action items.
- Ensure all tasks and projects are completed within set deadlines.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality and ensure compliance with GDPR regulations in handling personal and sensitive information.
- Manage diaries, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings for senior staff.
- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails and phone calls, in a professional and timely manner.
- Assist with the preparation of reports, presentations, and other documentation as required.
- Provide general administrative support to the team and other departments as needed.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Clerical Officer or in a similar administrative role.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, SharePoint, Teams, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong data management skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent minute-taking skills with the ability to capture and transcribe discussions accurately.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work under tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of GDPR regulations and experience in handling sensitive information.
- Exceptional organizational and diary management skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of professionalism and discretion.
- Must be flexible with hours.
- Must be able to type at a speed of 50wpm

Qualifications:
- A relevant qualification in administration, business, or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within a public sector or corporate environment.
