Job Description

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate HCA's to work in the dynamic and fast-paced Emergency Department delivering high-quality care in a rapidly changing environment.

We are looking for candidates with strong time management and organizational skills, which are crucial in delivering high-quality patient care in a dynamic and often high-pressure environment. Candidates will offer support the nursing and medical teams by performing a variety of patient care tasks, ensuring the efficient operation of the department, and contributing to a positive patient experience.

Minimum Requirements

·Help patients with their daily needs, making sure they feel comfortable and happy.

· Assist patients in moving and getting around, so they feel safe and confident.

·Keep an eye on patients’ health signs and write them down, so we can help them quickly if anything changes.

·Be a friendly presence for patients, offering emotional support and being a friend.

·Encourage patients to do things they enjoy, like activities and hobbies, to boost their mood and well-being.

·Make sure patients’ wishes are heard by talking with them and the healthcare team.

·Keep the place clean and safe, which is important for patients’ peace and getting better.

Requirements – To be eligible for this role you must have:

· 6 months experience in a healthcare environment

· Right to work in Northern Ireland

· Be available for day and night shifts

· Valid inoculations (MMR, Hep B, Varicella and TB)
