Job Description

TTM Healthcare are currently recruiting for locum Anaesthetists to support a leading Trust based in the East Midlands. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in providing anaesthesia for General Surgery (hernias and lap choles) and Orthopaedics (knee replacements and soft tissue procedures).  Responsibilities include pre-operative assessments, administering anaesthesia, monitoring patients during surgery, and post-operative care. The candidate must ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the surgical process.

• Key Responsibilities:
• - Conduct pre-operative assessments and consultations. - Administer anaesthesia for General Surgery and Orthopaedics. - Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anaesthesia levels as needed. - Provide post-operative care and pain management. - Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. - Maintain accurate medical records.

• Qualifications:
• - Medical degree with specialisation in Anaesthesiology. - Valid medical license to practice in the UK. - Proven experience in General Surgery and Orthopaedics anaesthesia. - Excellent communication and teamwork skills. - Strong attention to detail and patient care orientation.

Rate £1500 per day.
