Job Title: Senior Clinical Pharmacist – Oncology and Aseptic Location: Dublin, Ireland
Job Type: Permanent F/T
Salary: 71,868 – 83,341

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Clinical Pharmacist to come and join one of Ireland's Leading Private Hospitals in Dublin. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical pharmacy services and ensuring the safe and effective use of medicines in our hospital. As a key member of the Pharmacy Clinical Oncology Team, the post holder will be expected to provide clinical services to chemotherapy patients.

Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical pharmacy services to patients in the hospital, including drug information, drug therapy monitoring, and medication review.
• The provision of clinical oncology and aseptic-based services, including the provision of advice to medical and nursing staff.
• The performance of all duties and responsibilities in line with all Pharmacy Department procedures and protocols, as well as hospital wide procedures.
• Participate in continuing education and research activities consistent with the post.
• Ensure best practice and compliance with agreed clinical guidelines.
• Ensure that all departmental and hospital wide Health and Safety protocols and procedures are adhered to and all areas of non-compliance are promptly addressed.
• Performance of such other duties appropriate to the post, including on call and the participation in extended opening rosters including weekend opening and other such services that may from time to time be introduced by the Director of Pharmacy Services.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or a related field.
• Current registration with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a clinical pharmacist, with experience in aseptic preparation and dispensing.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and guidelines related to aseptic preparation and dispensing.
