Job Title: Staff Nurse

Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Temporary Staff Nurse to join our healthcare team in Co. Mayo. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and support the hospital's mission of delivering exceptional healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, and report changes to the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Assist in patient admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records. 
• Educate patients and their families on health management and care plans. 
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Valid nursing license and registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
• Proven experience in a hospital setting, preferably in acute care.
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of nursing best practices. 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
