TTM Healthcare Solutions are proud to partner with a prestigious client dedicated to Care of the Elderly working within care homes and urgently require caring and compassionate experienced Care Assistants for roles in the Belfast and the Greater Belfast area. Position Overview:

As a Care Assistant, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality care to our clients elderly residents. Your compassion, dedication, and commitment to the role will ensure that  residents receive the personalized care they deserve. Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting residents with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Supporting residents with mobility and daily activities, ensuring their comfort and safety at all times.
• Providing emotional support and companionship to residents, fostering meaningful connections and relationships.
• Assisting with meal preparation, feeding, and hydration, adhering to dietary requirements and preferences.
• Collaborating with healthcare professionals and colleagues to ensure holistic care and continuity of support for residents.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of care provided, observing and reporting any changes in residents’ health or behavior.

Qualifications and Skills:

• NISCC registration is mandatory
• Previous experience in a similar role within a healthcare or elderly care setting is preferred.
• A genuine passion for caring for elderly individuals and a commitment to providing person-centered care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with residents, families, and colleagues.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment.

Requirements – To be eligible for this role you must have:

• Right to work in Northern Ireland 
• Valid practical manual handling and basic life support training certificates 
• 6 months experience in a healthcare setting
• NISCC registration
