Job Description

Our client is a Swiss family-owned company employing close to 2400 employees. The have a leading position in the building industry in the innovation and technology in regards of a certain material. 

The headquarters they are expanding their Group HR team and is looking for a new team member as

HR Manager International incl. HR Projects (m/w/d), 80-100%

This is a newly created role to shape the global hr activities together with a small team.

Tasks
  • Sparring partner for line managers (incl. executive and senior management) and coordination with local HR managers on HR topics in cross-country teams
  • Active HR management for employees in countries with smaller entities across europe (e.g. Denmark, Sweden, Germany, etc.)
  • Participation in and/or leadership of various HR projects, such as new intranet (employee application), definition of global HR processes and guidelines, HR best practices, HR digitalization and rollout of new vision / mission / values
  • Building a solid and value adding relationship with local HR managers as well as leaders
  • Create and maintain global HR policies across the organization, taking into account the local environment
Requirements
  • You are a hands-on self-starter with a Can-Do attitude ready to bring in your HR knowledge and experience to build up a modern HR Management; willing to drive projects and shape structures, policies and practices yourself
  • You have an holistic mindset in order to provide business oriented and pragmatic solutions
  • High personal integrity and social competence
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in HR, thereof 3 in a similar position (experience in a multinational environment is a must)
  • Master, Bachelor degree or Federal Diploma in Economics, Business Administration or Human Resources 
  • Good knowledge of Swiss labor law, experience with other international legislation a plus
  • Customer focus and ability to build partnerships, reliable, proactive, efficient, team player, respect of deadline and action-oriented are key competencies
  • Ability to work under pressure, shows flexibility under fast changing environment and delivers quality work with strong attention to detail
  • Possesses strong communication skills and fluent in English; good level of German highly appreciated
  • Advanced proficiency of IT tools is a prerequisite. Knowledge of SAP HR, Microsoft D365 or any other HR system is an advantage
