Savvi Recruitment is proud to partner exclusively with a global financial services organisation that is expanding its operations into Ireland with the opening of a new branch in Dublin.

We are now seeking a Chief Enterprise Architect to lead the strategic review and optimisation of the company’s global technology landscape—laying the foundation for a scalable, streamlined, and future-fit banking infrastructure.

About the Role:

This is a senior leadership role, offering significant influence over the group’s technology strategy. With a large number of systems currently in use across global offices, the opening of the Irish branch presents an opportunity to assess what is working, what can be made redundant, and what can be consolidated or automated.

The Chief Enterprise Architect will evaluate the current environment, define a clear architectural roadmap, and guide the selection and integration of platforms that deliver efficiency, automation, and scalability—supporting long-term business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a global review of existing systems and infrastructure across multiple branches
• Evaluate usage and performance a large number of existing systems to identify redundancies, inefficiencies, and integration gaps
• Define and implement a group-wide enterprise architecture strategy that supports cross-border operations and business objectives
• Recommend modern, scalable solutions for the Irish branch and assess potential for wider rollout
• Identify opportunities for automation, API integrations, and seamless system interoperability
• Develop architecture frameworks and governance standards across jurisdictions
• Collaborate with stakeholders across technology, operations, compliance, and business functions to ensure alignment
• Conduct cost-benefit analysis and support vendor evaluation/technology selection processes
• Ensure all architectural decisions align with Irish, EU, and global regulatory requirements

What We’re Looking For:

• Extensive experience as a Chief Architect, Enterprise Architect, or Technology Strategy Lead within banking or financial services
• Strong expertise in core banking platforms, infrastructure, and system integration
• Proven track record of architecting scalable enterprise systems across global environments
• Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure, APIs, automation tools, and system lifecycle management
• Strategic mindset with the ability to balance long-term vision with practical implementation
• Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement capabilities
