Are you a qualified accountant with the ambition to lead, inspire, and make a real difference to small business clients? We’re recruiting for our client – a forward-thinking accountancy practice that champions flexibility, excellence, and growth.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Practice Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA) with 3+ years’ PQE to take ownership of a portfolio of 50–70 start-up and sole trader clients. You’ll play a key role in client success while mentoring junior team members and helping shape an evolving remote-first business.

The Opportunity

• Manage a portfolio of ambitious start-ups and small businesses, providing top-tier accounting, compliance, and tax support (no audit).
• Act as a trusted advisor – the go-to person for clients looking for more than just a number cruncher.
• Support and mentor junior accountants and trainees, building a culture of high performance and learning.
• Streamline workflows and drive improvements, using tools like Xero, Sage, and leading practice management CRMs.

What You’ll Bring

• ACA, ACCA, or CPA qualified, with a minimum of 3 years’ post-qualification experience
• Proven experience managing a diverse client portfolio in an accountancy practice.
• Strong supervisory experience – able to coach, guide, and motivate junior team members.
• Tech-savvy and confident working in a digital-first, remote environment.
