Our client is a U.S investment management firm with operations in New York and Dublin.
They are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented recent graduate to join their Dublin-based fund accounting team. This entry-level role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in fund operations and accounting within a collaborative, international environment. The successful candidate will work closely with senior accountants and teams in both Dublin and New York.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reviewing daily pricing and valuations
- Performing cash and position reconciliations
- Investigating and resolving trade mismatches
- Support the monthly preparation of shadow Net Asset Value (NAV) calculations
- Liaise with the third-party fund administrator to ensure data accuracy
- Assist the New York accounting team with:
- Payment processing
- Invoice review and allocation (Accounts Payable)
- Participate in internal reporting, process documentation, and ad hoc tasks as required
Requirements:- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related discipline
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, cross-border environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Interest in financial services and a desire to build a career in fund accounting
- Previous internship or experience in a finance or accounting-related role is a plus but not required
