Our client, a well-established and reputable Accountancy and Audit practice with offices across the Northwest, is seeking an Audit Senior to join their growing audit department. About the Role:
You will play a key role in delivering high-quality audit services to both audit and audit-exempt clients. Working closely with audit managers and partners, you’ll gain valuable exposure and hands-on experience with a range of client engagements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage audit and audit-exempt engagements from planning to completion for review by managers and partners.
- Prepare financial statements in accordance with relevant standards.
- Perform reconciliations of key balance sheet items, including fixed assets, debtors, creditors, control accounts, VAT, and PAYE.
- Maintain strong client relationships and ensure audit files are completed to the highest quality standards.
What We’re Looking For:
- Recently qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent).
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
- Solid understanding of financial reporting and auditing principles.
- A proactive approach with a commitment to professional development.
