Part Qualified Accountant (Contract) - Mayo

Location: Mayo, Ireland
Job Type: Contract

Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management accounts
- Perform reconciliations of bank accounts.
- Assist with accounts receivable and accounts payable.
- Co-ordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the smooth running of the finance dept.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns and other tax compliance activities
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes
- Analyze financial data and generate ad-hoc reports as required
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations

Qualifications:
- Part qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar accounting role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Contract Details:
- Duration: Initially 6-12 month contract with genuine possibility of the role being made permanent
- Start Date: Immediate
