The Role
As a Compliance Officer, you will:
- Regulatory Change Management: Support the implementation of regulatory requirements, ensuring alignment with compliance deadlines and standards.
- Programme Coordination: Oversee specific regulatory change programmes, managing projects from inception through to business-as-usual transfer.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with business lines, fostering open communication and collaboration on projects.
- Advisory Support: Act as a key point of contact for business line queries, providing expert guidance and support.
- Collaboration Across Teams: Engage with international counterparts and enterprise teams to align efforts on regulatory initiatives.
What You’ll Bring
Experience & Skills
- 2–4 years of experience in compliance, risk, or audit roles within financial services, ideally with a credit institution or payment services provider.
- Knowledge of key compliance and regulatory topics, with a proven track record of practical application.
- Strong project management skills, including prioritisation, communication, and delivery.
- Excellent attention to detail with a process-driven mindset.
Education & Qualifications
- A third-level qualification (degree or similar) in a relevant field such as law, business, or finance.
- A Diploma in Compliance (or equivalent) is beneficial; advanced qualifications are an advantage but not essential.
