Job Description:
Our manufacturing client in Cavan is seeking a permanent Bookkeeper with a minimum of 3 years of bookkeeping experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards. The role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and proficiency in accounting software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update financial records for the company
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Reconcile bank statements and financial discrepancies
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations
- Assist with budget preparation and financial planning
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
