Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Administrator to join our client's team in Cavan. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions efficiently.
Key Responsibilities: - Process and manage invoices, payments, and receipts. - Maintain accurate records of financial transactions. - Reconcile accounts and prepare financial reports. - Monitor and follow up on outstanding receivables. - Ensure timely payment of invoices and bills. - Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes. - Address and resolve any discrepancies in financial records. - Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
Skills and Qualifications: - Proven experience in Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable. - Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel. - Strong attention to detail and accuracy. - Excellent organizational and time-management skills. - Good communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Education: - A degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
Experience: - Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
