Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Risk Consulting Manager on behalf of our client to join their growing Risk Consulting practice. In collaboration with their ESG Consulting team, you will lead multi-disciplinary teams to help clients achieve compliance with ESG standards and reporting frameworks while maximising value from sustainability initiatives. This role involves managing client portfolios, guiding ESG risk assessments, and driving ESG compliance implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead ESG implementation programmes, ensuring client compliance with ESG standards and reporting frameworks.
• Manage a portfolio of clients, delivering tailored sustainability solutions that embed ESG principles within core business activities.
• Perform and support ESG risk assessments, including CSRD Double Materiality Assessments, identifying sustainability risks and opportunities.
• Review and enhance clients’ sustainability governance, processes, and control environments.
• Advise clients on performance against ESG standards, providing recommendations and supporting implementation for improvement.
• Collaborate with business development teams to expand the Risk and ESG consulting practice.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, delivering customised ESG and risk management solutions.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Risk Consulting or a related field, with a proven track record of delivering risk and compliance programmes.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject; professional certifications in Sustainability or ESG are advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of ESG frameworks, standards, regulatory environments, and risk management.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams in Risk and ESG implementation.
• Proficient in reviewing governance structures, designing processes, and implementing controls to align with ESG objectives.
• Excellent client relationship management skills and experience in business development.
