Job description:

For the Reporting of their ERP team, our client is looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer with expertise in SAP DataSphere, ERP S4 HANA and integration of these systems.

The assignment includes working on data integration, dimensional modeling and unlocking CDS views within an SAP environment. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will work closely with the team to build and maintain advanced data solutions, leveraging your extensive knowledge of ETL processes and experience with Snowflake.

Activities:

• Developing and maintaining data integrations between ERP S4 HANA and SAP DataSphere.
• Implementation and optimization of ETL processes.
• Dimensional modelling and unlocking of CDS views.
• Working with Snowflake for unlocking data from DataSphere.
• Collaborate with other team members within the Reporting ERP team to improve and further develop data solutions.
• Contribute to improving data quality and facilitating reporting and analysis.

Knowledge and Experience:

• Demonstrable experience with SAP DataSphere and integration of ERP S4 HANA.
• In-depth knowledge of ETL processes and dimensional modelling.
• Experience with unlocking CDS views within the SAP environment.
• Knowledge of Snowflake.
• Experience with grid management is an advantage.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team.
• At least 10 years of experience as a Data Engineer in an SAP environment.
• Experience with the implementation of data integrations and working with SAP systems.
