Investment Media Host and Content Creator

Location: New York City, NY

As an Investment Media Host and Content Creator in our client's New York City studio, you will play a pivotal role in delivering expert investment insights and news programs to investment professionals. Working closely with a global content team, you will help develop engaging formats to provide valuable research and learning experiences. This position offers the opportunity to leverage social media platforms, engage directly with clients, and contribute to the creation of high-quality investment content.

Responsibilities:

• Host expert investment videos and news programs from the New York City studio, aimed at delivering research and learning opportunities to investment professionals.
• Collaborate with the global content team in the US, UK, and South Africa to develop new and engaging content formats.
• Utilize social media platforms, particularly LinkedIn, to reach our professional audience directly.
• Communicate with clients via phone and Zoom, particularly before significant events, to ensure their needs and expectations are met.
• Work from our Midtown New York City location, utilizing our broadcast studios.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in investment media is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Familiarity with financial markets, investment strategies, and regulations.
• Comfortable working with digital tools and technologies.

A Day in the Life:

• Reach out to upcoming Masterclass participants to provide guidance and information about the upcoming event.
• Welcome new clients into our green room before filming sessions, ensuring they feel comfortable and informed.
• Film the latest news stories to keep the client's audience in Canada up to date on market developments and regulatory changes.
• Collaborate with the Digital Team to craft compelling messaging for email and social media campaigns promoting our flagship conference.
• Visit the New York Stock Exchange to film the latest episode of our ETF Show.
• Attend client meetings with a film crew to capture their latest market updates.
• Engage with the sales team to brainstorm and discuss new program ideas, leveraging your expertise in investment media.
