Our client, the market leader and award winning financial adviser in Insurance and Financial Services within the Gulf Region, has reached a milestone in its development.

Independently owned, the company is profitable, liquid and well capitalised with an extensive client base and substantial funds under its management.

To take the company to the next stage of its development they require an energetic, pro-active and results-oriented Chief Operating Officer.

This is a new and extremely important role for the company and will promote and underpin the growth and development of the business in an all-round way.

The company is looking to drive sustainable and profitable growth through exceptional leadership, fostering the entrepreneurial culture that has made the company the success that it is.

The market in the Middle East for the insurance and financial services industry is on the threshold of major change. It is critical that the person appointed to this role will be equipped to play a pivotal role in implementing and overseeing these changes.

You will be a visionary equipped to advise and guide the executive and Senior Management teams in developing the business in the digital age is critical for this role.

You will hold a track record of leading the development of profitable sales and implementing new ideas to target the millennium market and the customers of the future.

You will have extensive and proven insurance and/or financial services industry experience, preferably but not essentially, in a “Brokerage” operation. Experience of managing a “Direct Sales Force” would be of value to this role.

Based in Dubai and reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, you will be confident in your ability to be a compelling leader, well able to coach and motivate experienced Sales Management, together with some 400 Financial Consultants, based at various offices in the Middle East.

Possessing strong personal values, gravitas, commercial intellect and operational grip will be essential to gain immediate respect with all stakeholders.
