Very exciting news, we have a new permanent science post for one of our SEN Channel Islands schools.
We are looking for an innovative and dynamic secondary science teacher with experience of successfully enabling children and young people with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties (SEMH) to fulfil their potential. You will have the ability to build excellent relationships with school staff & parents, have high expectations of students, and have resilience in managing the significant demands of working with the most challenging students in our schools.
The school is a specialist educational provision for students with significant social, emotional and behavioural difficulties, many of whom have involvement from other agencies, such as Child and Adolescent Mental Health services (CAMHS), Social Services and the Child, Youth and Community Tribunal.
The aim is to ensure that as a school the needs of students with SEMH are met and they have opportunities commensurate with their peers.
This is a permanent post which has a salary of: -
MPS £41,147 - £58,812 and UPS £62,077 - £65,990 per annum
And Special Schools Allowance £4,227
Plus, a relocation allowance and support with your rent (up to 50% for up to 4 years!)
