Lead the way in inclusive education!
We're looking for an innovative and dynamic Lead Teacher to work within the Communication, Interaction and Autism Service in the beautiful Channel Islands, providing vital advisory support within mainstream schools.
As Lead Advisory Teacher, you will provide advisory support and guidance to schools, to enable them to support pupils who are identified as having communication, interaction and/or autism needs. This will include leading and managing the day-to-day operations, working with school staff, parents and professionals from other agencies, and deploying resources as appropriate.
A suitably qualified teacher, you will have a proven record of excellent classroom teaching with effective organisational and classroom management skills. You must have proven resilience in managing the significant demands of working with vulnerable students our schools, with experience of successfully enabling children and young people with communication interaction and autism needs to fulfil their potential. You must also have strong leadership success and experience building working relationships.
This Lead Teacher Advisory role is a permanent position to start as soon as possible.
