One of our successful and supportive Colleges in the Channel Islands is looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic Animal Management Lecturer to inspire and engage students to pursue a future in the animal care and management sector.
A high calibre teacher and animal enthusiast, you will undertake an important role at the College, which is committed to providing an exceptional education within a high quality 21st century learning environment.
You will be responsible for planning and delivering high quality teaching to Key Stage 5 students on the Level 3 course, enabling them to explore topics such as animal behaviour, biology, health, welfare, and development. This will include both academic study and extensive practical experience, as you equip learners with the knowledge and skills required to work with a wide range of animals.
You must be an experienced and qualified teacher of Animal Management, ideally with a degree or Level 5 qualification. You must be passionate about using your experience and expertise to prepare students for a career in the animal care industry, or progression to higher education in this field.
This full-time Animal Management Lecturer role is available from September, initially for the Autumn term although this may be extended or made permanent for the right candidate.
