One of our successful American curriculum schools is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced English Teacher to join their High School team for the start of the new academic year. This well established school provides a supportive and inspiring learning environment focused on academic excellence, personal growth, and preparing students with the skills and confidence to succeed in the future.

In this full-time teaching role, you will deliver engaging, well-structured English lessons aligned with the American curriculum. You will work with high school aged students to develop their skills in reading, writing, literature, communication and critical thinking, inspiring a love of English within well-resourced classrooms. You will join a friendly and dedicated team who are committed to professional development and collaborative working across the entire school community.

An experienced and qualified English Teacher, you will have excellent classroom management skills and a genuine passion for helping students achieve their full potential. You must have at least two year's experience teaching High School English or Key Stage 4/Key Stage 5 English.

Skills and requirements:

• Recognised teaching qualification or licence (QTS/PGCS or equivalent)
• A Bachelor's Degree in English, English Literature, Education or a related subject
• At least two years' full-time teaching experience
• Experience teaching High School English or Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 English
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• Commitment to safeguarding and child protection
• A well-organised, committed and energetic teacher
• Available to start in August.
