One of our SEN schools in the Channel Islands is looking for an outstanding SEMH Maths Teacher to join a dedicated team, who are committed to breaking down SEMH barriers to learning. This fantastic school caters for children aged 9 to 16 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs, providing them with a positive, safe, vibrant community.

In this exciting full-time contract role, you can combine beautiful surroundings with a rewarding challenge. You will teach Maths across KS3 and KS4, delivering well-planned lessons that can be adapted to meet individual needs.

An experienced Maths Teacher, you must also have experience working with SEMH/SEN students, with strong behavioural management skills and a patient approach.

This exciting full-time SEMH Maths Teacher role is a permanent position from September.

Skills and requirements:

• Valid teaching qualification, PGCE or BEd
• Right to work in the UK
• DBS on the update service (or willing to apply)
• A solid background teaching Maths
• Experience working in an SEMH setting
• Inspirational, driven and passionate teacher with strong classroom management
• Available to start in September.
