One of our SEMH schools in the Channel Islands is looking for an outstanding Middle School Teacher to join a dedicated team who are committed to breaking down SEMH barriers to learning. This fantastic school caters for children aged 9 to 16 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs, providing them with a positive, safe, vibrant community.

In this exciting full-time contract teaching role, you can combine beautiful surroundings with a rewarding challenge. You will teach across KS2 and KS3, delivering well-planned lessons that can be adapted to meet individual needs.

An experienced Middle School Teacher, you must also have experience working with SEMH students, with strong behavioural management skills and a patient approach.

This SEMH Middle School Teacher role is available to start immediately, until the end of the academic year.

Skills and requirements:

  • QTS
  • The right to work in the UK
  • DBS on the update service (or willing to apply)
  • A solid background teaching in an SEMH setting
  • An inspirational, driven and passionate teacher with strong classroom management
  • Available to start as soon as possible.
