One of our leading American International Schools in Saudi Arabia is seeking an experienced Pastoral Vice Principal to join them for the start of the new academic year. It's a great opportunity to combine your love of teaching with stunning surroundings, year-round sunshine and fantastic benefits.

You will help lead a fantastic team at this well-established International School, which delivers a full American Curriculum based on Common Core State Standards (CCSS) and Next Generation Standards (NGS) from Kindergarten to Grade 12. Students graduate with an American High School Diploma and progress to universities in Saudi Arabia and internationally.

With great support and state-of-the-art new facilities, they require world-class teachers  who can embrace their ethos as they grow and develop.

As Pastoral Vice Principal, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining operational systems for SEN and Pastoral care within the school.
A well-qualified and proven senior leader, you must have a passion for the provision of emotional, social and spiritual support across the school, with a focus on the individual wellbeing of all learners. Experience teaching in an international school setting and/or the Middle East would be advantageous.

This exciting role is due to start in August 2026 on a two year contract.

Skills and requirements:

  • QTS/PGCE (or valid teaching licence)
  • Bachelor's Degree in Education or a related subject
  • Masters in Educational Leadership or equivalent (highly desirable)
  • Minimum 3 years experience in senior leadership within the Middle East
  • Psychology and/or SEN qualification advantageous
  • Efficient in implementing and maintaining operational systems for SEN and Pastoral care
  • Ability to speak both English and Arabic (highly desirable)
  • High-level of cultural awareness and sensitivity.
