One of our successful FE Colleges in the Channel Islands is looking for an enthusiastic SEND Lecturer join their team in the Autumn term.
An inspiring and SEND Lecturer, you will undertake an important role at the College, which is committed to providing exceptional education and a nurturing environment for students.
You will be responsible for teaching in the rapidly expanding foundation learning area of the College, which provides a range of courses to match student needs using both Vocational and Functional Skills qualifications.
You will join a supportive and forward-thinking team who are dedicated to progressing students through the area, to go on to other courses at the College or into employment/supported employment.
An experienced and qualified teacher, you will deliver high quality teaching and learning, whilst developing appropriate learning plans for individual students. You will also take shared responsibility for the tutorial and pastoral support of at least one group of learners.
You must have experience delivering innovative, enriching and vocationally relevant programmes and, ideally, experience of working with students with Additional Learning Needs, from Entry Level 1 - Level 1.
This SEND Lecturer role is a temporary contract from the end of August until October half term.
