One of our successful FE Colleges in the Channel Islands is looking for an enthusiastic and innovative Lecturer in Sports to join them for the Autumn term.

A talented Sports Lecturer, you will undertake an important role at the College, which is committed to providing exceptional education and a nurturing environment for students, across a wide range of exciting courses.

You will be responsible for delivery of the Sport & Active Leisure courses, which currently uses predominantly OCR Cambridge Technical Subsidiary Diploma and Extended Diploma in Sport. Your high quality teaching and assessment of students' work will help students achieve their qualifications, preparing them for further/higher education, training or employment. 

An experienced and qualified teacher, you will also have relevant vocational experience in the Sport & Active Leisure sector.  You will have an outward facing approach to engage students in gaining relevant experience. You will have a passion for lecturing and knowledge of delivering and assessing qualifications.

This Sport Lecturer role is a temporary contract from the end of August until October half term. There may be potential for this to become a permanent role for the right candidate.

Skills and requirements:

• Level 5 teaching qualification or QTLS
• Right to work in the UK
• DBS on the update service, or willing to apply
• Solid background in delivering Sport in an FE setting
• Inspirational, driven and passionate lecturer
• Available to start at the end of August.
