Can you bring Humanities to life in the classroom, whilst creating an environment where pupils can thrive?
We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced Humanities Teacher to join a mixed SEN School in Hampshire, where both pupils and staff can grow. This supportive and inclusive school caters for pupils aged 7-16 whose needs can no longer be met in a mainstream provision. An Ofsted Outstanding rated school (Nov 2022), it prioritises making a positive, lifelong difference to the lives of their pupils through holistic growth.
A passionate Humanities Teacher, you will join a committed team of skilled teachers, therapists, and professionals who work together to ensure each child is empowered to learn through a programme tailored to their specific needs.
You will play a vital role in delivering the curriculum whilst instilling confidence among pupils from KS2 to KS4. You will enjoy creating a stimulating environment that engages pupils in Humanities, working with them to develop their skills and overcome barriers to learning.
You will need to have a passion for teaching Humanities, with strong classroom and behavioural management skills. You will also ideally have SEN experience, although this is not essential.
This full-time Humanities Teacher role is to cover maternity for one year.
