Start a new chapter in your teaching career with this fantastic opportunity in the UAE!We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Head of English to bring literacy to life at a forward-thinking and successful private school in Dubai.
Having carved a niche in the emirate for providing quality and affordable education, this school is looking to appoint a new Head of English to take the department from strength to strength. In this full-time permanent role, you will lead a dynamic team to teach English across the high school, ensuring high standards of education whilst producing passionate and successful young students.
A highly motivated and experienced teacher, you must have first rate academic qualities and proven leadership skills. You must be able to balance a full teaching commitment whilst managing and developing your team to deliver the British Curriculum to KS3, KS4 and KS5 students. You must also have previous experience as a Head of Department, or have taught IGCSE/A Level.

Skills and requirements:
• QTS
• The right to work in the UK
• DBS on the update service (or willing to apply)
• A solid background in teaching English
• Previous experience as a Head of Department (or having taught IGCSE/A Level)
• Strong leadership skills
• Available to start in January 2025.
