Composite Laminator — Carbon & Prepreg | Portsmouth | £14.50–£25.00 per hour (DOE, temp or perm options)

We’re supporting a leading advanced manufacturing business in Portsmouth who specialise in high-spec composite components for the automotive and aerospace sectors. Due to ongoing project growth, they’re looking to add experienced Composite Laminators to their production team.

If you’re confident working with carbon and glass prepreg and enjoy delivering high-quality, detail-driven work — this will be a great fit.

The role — what you’ll be working on

You’ll be involved in a range of hands-on laminating and build activities, including:

• Carbon & glass prepreg layup

• Prepping mould tools

• Bagging & de-bagging

• Demoulding

• Working with autoclaves

• Bonding & assembly (beneficial but not essential)

Quality, accuracy and consistency are key — this environment suits someone who takes real pride in their workmanship.

About you — what we’re looking for

Ideally, you’ll bring:

• Previous experience as a Composite Laminator essential

• Strong background in carbon & prepreg work essential

• Experience in automotive or aerospace environments - highly desirable

• Ability to follow technical drawings and work instructions

• A proactive, reliable and positive approach to teamwork

Pay & employment options

Rates depend on experience and contract type:

• £14.50 – £25.00 per hour

• Temporary and permanent opportunities available
