**Role Overview:**
A prestigious architectural firm are seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join their esteemed team. This position involves general structural engineering support across design, M&P, and production, ensuring the structural integrity and safety of all designs. The role also includes supporting business during bidding processes and evaluating new projects, ensuring all structural analyses meet the highest standards and deadlines.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Lead and manage specific projects from conceptual design through to production.
- Establish and maintain clear communication with clients, architects, and consultants.
- Develop project plans with milestone dates, define priorities, and adhere to deadlines.
- Conduct various structural analyses and calculations to meet design criteria.
- Provide structural engineering support to existing and new markets.
- Participate in business proposals and tender offers.
- Manage communication flow between all key stakeholders, including bill of materials, specifications, and sketches for concept development.
- Ensure accurate production of drawings in line with external architect designs.
- Liaise with internal teams to ensure project progress, quality checks, and resolution of any production queries.

**Skills and Experience Required:**
- BSc/MS in Mechanical or Structural Engineering.
- Over 10 years of working experience in structural (steel) engineering.
- Proficient understanding of structural design principles and practices.
- Experienced in designing with both metals and advanced composite materials preferred.
- Ability to perform classical hand calculations and develop spreadsheets for design and analysis.
- Strong analytical skills for gathering, organising, and analysing data.
- Proficient in CATIA or other CAD software.
- Capable of challenging structural design and production requirements.
- Commitment to high-standard delivery and knowledge of rules and regulations.
- Experience in issuing test protocols in line with R&D or testing facilities.
- Ability to provide meaningful feedback across various projects and act as technical support for structural authorities.
