**Quality Assurance Manager (Pipe Work)**
**Location:** Southampton
**Pay:** £40k-£60k per annum
**Hours:**
- Monday to Thursday: 07:30 - 17:30
- Friday: 07:30 - 13:30

**Main Responsibilities:**
- Lead the execution and deployment of the company’s Quality Management System.
- Provide total quality leadership to clients, suppliers, and internal manufacturing processes.
- Ensure adherence to all codes and industry standards throughout the manufacturing process.
- Create technical files, including the implementation of Inspection Test Plans.
- Manage internal quality and supplier quality audits and management reviews in line with the agreed audit schedule.
- Liaise with operational engineering and procurement functions to ensure material and product specifications meet required quality standards.
- Maintain company standards and accreditations, including P.E.D, CE, UKCA, ASME U & R.
- Lead investigations and remedial actions for quality failures.
**Skills and Experience Required:**
- Proficiency in computer literacy, particularly with Word and Excel.
- Knowledge of pipe work ASME codes and PED requirements.
- High level of mathematical/numerical competency.
- Strong communication skills.
- Experience with industry codes such as Pressure Vessel Codes ASME VIII & PD5500, ASME U & R stamp, Pipe Work Codes ASME B31.3 / ASME B31.1, E.D requirements including CE and UKCA Marking, and Welding Standards to ASME IX & BS 15614.
