Recruit4Staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading food manufacturing company in their search for a Line Leader to work in their leading facility in Telford.
For the successful Line Leader our client is offering:
- £14.45 per hour
- Rotating 6:00 AM -2:00 PM /2:00 PM-10:00 PM shifts Monday to Friday
- Temp- perm
- Immediate starts available for the right candidates

The Role - Line Leader;
- Supervise and coordinate production operatives to ensure efficient workflow and productivity.
- Achieve daily production targets for output, efficiency, waste and quality.
- Set up production lines, manage product changeovers and monitor processes.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, hygiene and health & safety standards.
- Maintain accurate production records, batch documentation and product traceability.
- Complete quality checks in line with procedures.
- Allocate tasks, monitor team attendance and performance, and maintain productivity.
- Provide on-the-job training, coaching and guidance to production team members.
- Identify and escalate production issues, equipment faults and non-conformances.
- Complete factory opening and closing procedures, including equipment checks and shutdowns.
- Support internal and external audits, ensuring production areas remain audit-ready.
- Deputise for the Production Manager when required, coordinating operations and liaising with other departments.
What our client is looking for in a Line Leader:
- Previous experience in similar role in a food manufacturing enviroment- ESSENTIAL
- Work within a food production environment, including chilled areas where applicable.
- Must have knowledge of BRCGS, HACCP, and Food Standards Agency requirements- ESSENTIAL
- Must comply with strict hygiene, PPE, food safety, and health & safety requirements.
- Shift-based role, including early, late, and weekend working depending on operational needs.
