Job Description

Recruit4staff are representing a well-established sheet metal manufacturing business in their search for a CAD Technician to work in Widnes.

Job Details:

• Pay: Circa £32,000 per annum
• Hours of Work: Monday to Thursday 7:30am – 4:30pm, Friday half day
• Duration: Permanent
• Benefits: 32 days' holiday, standard pension, private medical cover, free parking, great company to work for with an ever-improving benefits package

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

• Previous fabrication experience
• Previous experience of working with sheet metal 
• Engineering qualifications Level 2 or higher in Welding / Fabrication/engineering operations/metal working or similar
• Good mathematical skills
• Experience of reading technical drawings and understanding how to produce them as a minimum 
• Some exposure to CAD packages 
• Customer communication and order re-qualification experience
