Practice Nurse – Burgess Hill

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and compassionate Practice Nurse to join a thriving, patient-focused GP surgery in Burgess Hill.

This well-established and highly respected practice is known for delivering exceptional patient care within a supportive, friendly, and forward-thinking environment. The successful candidate will become part of a dedicated multidisciplinary team committed to providing high-quality healthcare services to the local community.

The Practice Nurse will play a key role in delivering a range of nursing services, including chronic disease management, cervical screening, immunisations, wound care, health promotion, and supporting patients with their ongoing healthcare needs. They will work collaboratively with GPs, healthcare assistants, and administrative colleagues to ensure excellent patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients across a variety of clinical areas.
• Undertake chronic disease reviews and management.
• Administer vaccinations and immunisations.
• Perform cervical cytology and other routine nursing procedures.
• Provide health education and promotion advice to patients.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical records.
• Contribute to the continuous development of clinical services and patient care standards.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Registered Nurse status with a valid NMC registration.
• Previous experience working within a GP Practice or Primary Care setting.
• Strong clinical and communication skills.
• A patient-centred approach with a commitment to delivering outstanding care.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
