Nursing Home Manager

Liverpool
£70,000 per annum
Full-Time | Permanent

Our client, a well-established care provider, is seeking an experienced Nursing Home Manager to lead a medium-sized nursing home in Liverpool. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong and commercially aware care professional to join a reputable organisation with a commitment to high-quality elderly care and continuous improvement.

The Role

The successful candidate will take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of the service, ensuring high standards of clinical care, regulatory compliance, occupancy, and staff performance.

Key duties will include:

• Managing all operational aspects of the nursing home
• Ensuring compliance with CQC standards and regulatory requirements
• Leading, mentoring, and developing the staff team
• Maintaining excellent standards of resident care and wellbeing
• Managing budgets, staffing, and occupancy levels
• Building strong relationships with residents, relatives, healthcare professionals, and external stakeholders
• Driving continuous improvement across the service

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience as a Nursing Home Manager within an elderly care setting
• Nurse qualified (RGN/RMN) desirable but not essential
• Strong working knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance
• Proven leadership and staff management experience
• Commercial awareness with the ability to manage performance effectively
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A genuine passion for elderly care
