Childrens Home Manager – 6 Bed EBD home

Location: Stockport

Ofsted GOOD

Salary: Up to £54,000 with up to £12,000 KPI bonus

Successful Applicants

• Proven experience as a Registered Manager, or an experienced Deputy Manager ready to progress
• Strong track record of positive Ofsted outcomes
• Confident leadership style with the ability to motivate and develop teams
• Thorough understanding of safeguarding procedures and Children’s Homes Regulations

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the home in full compliance with Ofsted standards and Children’s Homes Regulations
• Sustain and further enhance the home’s current “Good” Ofsted rating
• Provide consistent, effective leadership to an established staff team
• Ensure high standards of care planning, safeguarding, and risk management
• Promote positive outcomes for young people in education, wellbeing, and personal development
• Oversee compliance, internal audits, and all regulatory requirements
• Support, supervise, and develop staff through regular performance management
• Build and maintain strong partnerships with external professionals and stakeholders
