An independent, family-run veterinary practice in North Walsham, Norfolk is seeking a Small Animal & Exotics Veterinary Surgeon to join its growing team. The Role
The successful candidate will join an experienced day team, delivering high standards of patient and client care while benefiting from a structured rota designed to support work-life balance, including regular 4-day weekends off.
Key responsibilities include:
Providing high-quality veterinary care to small animals and exotics
Managing a varied medical and surgical caseload
Building strong client relationships and continuity of care
Collaborating with a highly experienced clinical team
Participating in daily clinical rounds and case discussions
A consultation-only role can also be considered.

Working Hours & Rota
4-day working week
Shifts: 8:30am – 7:00pm
Daily clinical rounds for case planning and handovers
Dedicated night team (no night shifts required)
Evening consult support from night team (7:00pm – 9:30pm)
Regular 4-day weekends off
Salary & Benefits
£35,000 – £75,000 salary (dependent on experience)
20-minute consultations (longer for complex cases)
Scheduled admin time and breaks
7 weeks holiday (rising to 8.25 weeks after 12 months)
