Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) – Oxfordshire | Full-Time | £30,000–£37,000 DOE

A forward-thinking veterinary practice in Oxfordshire is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join its dedicated clinical team on a full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a compassionate and motivated nurse who is passionate about delivering outstanding patient and client care within a supportive, high-standard clinical environment.

About the Role

The Registered Veterinary Nurse will play a key clinical role in the delivery of nurse-led appointments, supporting veterinary surgeons during procedures and contributing to the smooth running of the practice. The role is central to ensuring exceptional standards of care for patients, clients, and colleagues, while maintaining full compliance with regulatory and operational requirements.

The successful RVN will be actively involved in a varied caseload and will be trusted with a high level of clinical responsibility, including Schedule 3 procedures and patient monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

The RVN will be responsible for:

• Delivering high-quality, compassionate patient care through nurse-led clinics and Schedule 3 procedures
• Supporting veterinary surgeons during consultations, surgeries, and clinical procedures
• Monitoring patients throughout anaesthesia, recovery, admissions, and discharge
• Ensuring accurate and thorough clinical care in line with RCVS and practice standards
• Providing excellent communication and support to clients
• Working collaboratively within a supportive, multi-disciplinary clinical team
