The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated Veterinary Surgeon to join a progressive small animal practice in Essex.
This position would suit a confident clinician with at least 23 years of small animal experience who enjoys a varied caseload and is looking to further develop their skills within a supportive and well-equipped environment.
The successful candidate will play an important role in delivering exceptional patient and client care, managing a broad range of medical and surgical cases, and contributing to a positive team culture. The role offers a balance of autonomy and collaboration, making it ideal for a Veterinary Surgeon who is confident working independently while valuing support from experienced colleagues.
What We're Looking For
- A Veterinary Surgeon with a minimum of 23 years' small animal practice experience
- Confident working in sole charge when required
- Comfortable managing emergency and urgent care cases
- Competent in routine and basic surgical procedures
- Strong clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Flexible and adaptable to work across different practice locations
The Rota
- Full-time position
- 40 hours per week
- Flexible working patterns available
- Choose between a 4 or 5-day working week
