This role is ideal for an RVN who enjoys delivering high standards of patient care while working within a collaborative team where nursing skills are fully utilised. There is also the opportunity to become involved in mentoring and supporting a student nurse for those interested in developing coaching or leadership skills.
The practice benefits from a loyal client base and a calm, organised workflow, allowing nurses to focus on quality clinical care rather than volume.

Opportunity to work across nearby branches where required (variety without excessive travel)
40-hour working week
Shift patterns include:
Early: 8:00am – 5:00pm
Mid: 9:00am – 6:00pm / 9:30am – 6:30pm
Late: 10:30am – 7:30pm
1-hour lunch break included
1 in 4 Saturdays (8:30am – 5:30pm) with TOIL the following week
No OOH or overnight responsibilities
You will play a key role in delivering outstanding nursing care across all areas of the practice, including:
Surgical and theatre nursing
Inpatient care and monitoring
Nurse consultations and client education
Anaesthesia monitoring and diagnostic support
Laboratory work and imaging assistance
Maintaining accurate clinical records
Supporting smooth day-to-day clinical operations
The practice typically performs 3–4 operations per day, creating a balanced and manageable pace.
There is also the opportunity to support the development of a student veterinary nurse, making this an excellent step for RVNs interested in progressing their career into mentoring or leadership pathways.
