Registered Veterinary Nurse - Doncaster

This is a great opportunity for a nurse who enjoys a varied caseload and wants to work within a collaborative team environment focused on delivering exceptional patient care and customer service.

The Role

You will be a key member of the clinical team, supporting veterinary surgeons in delivering high standards of care while promoting pet wellbeing and preventative health.

Typical responsibilities include:

  • Anaesthetic monitoring and surgical nursing

  • Inpatient care and patient monitoring

  • Nurse consultations and clinics

  • Laboratory work, radiography and diagnostics support

  • Assisting veterinary surgeons with procedures and treatments

  • Supporting euthanasia procedures with compassion and professionalism

  • Dispensing medication and maintaining accurate clinical records

  • Preparing theatres and clinical areas for procedures

  • Participating in stock control and equipment maintenance

There may also be opportunities to act as a clinical coach for Student Veterinary Nurses, supporting their development and training within the practice.

Working Pattern

  • 39 hours per week

  • 4 days per week

  • 1 in 4 weekends

  • Duty nurse care nights on rotation

This rota provides a strong work-life balance while maintaining continuity of patient care.
